The New Statesman‘s Let’s Celebrate Towns Reception at Labour Party Conference
We are delighted to invite you to attend the New Statesman‘s ‘Let’s Celebrate Towns’ reception at the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool, in partnership with Visa and Nationwide Building Society.
As the Government continues to place local growth, thriving high streets and stronger communities at the heart of its agenda, this reception will bring together policymakers, businesses and local leaders to discuss how we can support the long-term success of towns across the UK.
The event will also mark the launch of Let’s Celebrate Towns 2026, a national competition run by Visa and Nationwide Building Society, recognising the towns that are helping local businesses, communities and residents thrive. Now entering its fourth year, Let’s Celebrate Towns shines a light on the initiatives helping towns build stronger, more resilient futures. The 2026 competition will open on 17th August and will offer towns across the UK the opportunity to win £20,000 to support a local community initiative across five categories.
