This invite-only Tech Monitor roundtable dinner, in partnership with Lenovo, will convene senior tech leaders from a cross-section of industries to discuss where opportunities and challenges exist with the hybrid cloud, and discuss how it can be used to unlock growth at a time when businesses are under considerable pressure to deliver consistent returns.

New hybrid working patterns, sustainability, AI, cyber security and edge computing are often cited as the main reasons why more and more tech leaders are turning to hybrid cloud solutions. It is consistently proving to help organisations become more agile, manage costs and remain competitive in a rapidly changing digital landscape.

Cloud on its own, however, is by no means a silver bullet and many businesses across a variety of industries have yet to see a significant return on their investment. Spiralling costs, regulatory demands, interoperability in and between cloud providers, data residency and synthesising legacy systems are just some of the frustrations. For these and other reasons, hybrid cloud’s ability to combine the elasticity, scale and convenience of the public cloud, with the assurance, security, and guaranteed performance of on-premise infrastructure, is proving appealing.
