Founded in 1824, The Macallan was one of the first distilleries in Scotland to be legally licensed. It has since earned a reputation as one of the world’s leading producers of single malt whisky.

Matured predominantly in European oak sherry-seasoned casks from Jerez, Spain, which contribute around 80% of the flavour, The Macallan Sherry Oak range offers rich notes of wood spice, dried fruit and vanilla, resulting in a whisky that is complex, well-rounded, long-lasting and full-bodied.

Press Gazette’s next Media 100 Network breakfast will be taking place in London on Tuesday 19th May at 8am – 10am.

This exclusive forum brings together the most influential media proprietors in the UK. It is a non-partisan, truly independent forum, to foster ideas, facilitate debate, and discuss the salient themes impacting the news and media business in 2026.

Through a series of quarterly events, hosted by key figures from inside and outside the industry, the network will provide an excellent opportunity to gauge the views of your peers in a convivial fashion.

Membership to the Media 100 Network is by invitation only.

Attendance is free, but restricted to C-suite executives and conducted under Chatham House rules. It provides a space for those shaping the future of media to exchange ideas and analyse the burning issues of the day.
